THIS YEAR...

Has gone by so fast... I've learnt a lot about myself in the past few months... Things that God has been showing to me, and still is. From teaching practice, to starting work, to finally graduating from UBD, and moving into a new place... this year is definitely a year of WOWs. God is good, and always will be. In a world of constant change and upheavals, God remains the SAME. He is the same yesterday, today and forever... and that is what I want to focus my eyes on... on a God that never wavers, a God that will constantly be there, a God that loves me unconditionally.

I don't know whether its because it's more recent, but things that have happened in the later half of the year seem more significant. I've learnt to let go of my burdens and allow God to take control. Anyone can tell you it is never easy to do that. It is something that so many of us desire to do and yet find so hard to accomplish. This year, i'm beginning to let God take control and allow myself to be dependant on Him, and not on my own strength and wisdom.

As it says in Proverbs 3:5-6... Trust in the Lord with all your heart and lean not on your own understanding, in all your ways acknowledge him and he will make your paths straight...

This year, one of my closest friends got married... which was exciting! Helping out for her wedding, wearing matching baju kurung with my other girlfriends... It was a memorable time.
Plus, Chel is getting married tomorrow! Wow! Wonder when it will be my turn??? Hehe.. My bridesmaids already know where they will get their dresses LOL Crazy crazy....

Two other things that I enjoyed this year: 1) Getting close to Grace and finding out we both have sooo much in common! 2) Getting to know Haeman better...And it's all due to the mission trip to the Philippines! Being with these two young people makes me feel young hehehe and I have learnt much from these two :) God can surely use young people to reach out to the older generation :)

I can't think of anymore to write for now... so I'll just wish all of you a MERRY CHRISTMAS and a BLESSED NEW YEAR!

2007 is going to be an AMAZING year.. I can just FEEL it... :)
